Hilton Head with friends

We went on our first trip with Kate when she was 6 weeks old to Hilton Head. We had lots of fun with our friends Jaime and Andy and their baby. Luke loved the water of course. So much so that he would lay on his belly at the shore and "swim" while the waves crashed over his head. He would walk right in with absolutely no fear. Dave and I wondered if he would go in without us and he did, with us looking on of course. It's just crazy! Dave also got stung by a sting ray! It punctured through the skin on his foot. After that I was pretty freaked out about getting the water! The travel there and back went really well too. Kate slept the whole time and Luke kept himself entertained with toys and without having to watch or play on the iPad! I think it also helped that the drive is only 5 hours from Atlanta.
